Shane Told- Vocalista

♥Biografia-Silverstein♥

Silverstein se formó en Burlington, Ontario, en las cercanías de Toronto en 2000. Emergiendo de la próspera escena del hardcore en su ciudad natal, la banda comenzó a afinar su sonido, y a grabar siempre que fuese posible. Lanzaron «When broken is Easily Fixed» del que vendieron 200.000 copias en todo el mundo, ganando popularidad en la prensa alternativa en el 2005. Después Cameron Webb , que ha sido productor de bandas como Motorhead, fué el productor de su nuevo álbum, «Discovering the Waterfront». «La sesión fue hecha en California así que vivimos durante mucho tiempo lejos de la familia y de amigos. Estaba totalmente solo cuando hice la mayoría de las pistas vocales y pienso que el foco que podía alcanzar era realmente importante.» Opina Shane Told. Con la elevación pesada de la grabación y del empaquetado envueltos para arriba, un vídeo para el primer solo, «Smile in your Sleep» era el paso siguiente. «La canción, «Smile in your Sleep» es una canción oscura sobre los celos, engaño y el asesinato» explica Shane. «Nuestro director vino con el concepto de la pista y nos dio la ocasión de divertirnos un poco con el vídeo. Cada uno de nosotros usa los colores de los caracteres, están todas las armas, y por supuesto, hay un mayordomo. Pienso que va a parecer grande.»En «Discovering the waterfont», Silverstein utiliza sus canciones infecciosas, melódicas con un borde metálico para explorar la lucha inherente en elegir una trayectoria y la fabricación de la vida dura de las decisiones nos presenta todos.Su último álbum se llama «Arrivals & Departures».
